The CDFA Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) supports this mission by providing comprehensive IT services including critical maintenance, operations, and the development and implementation of new solutions and services.

Overview:

  • Develop and maintain Project plan(s) as specified.
  • Manage general scope, schedule, and budget for overall effort.
  • Develop and deliver regular and ad-hoc project status reports to stakeholders as specified.
  • Coordinate all consultant resource activities as specified.
  • Contribute to and coordinate the development of all deliverables.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed to specifications in required timeframes.
  • Develop and execute OCM materials and activities as specified.
  • Provide project management leadership and direction.
  • Manage and develop status reports, gap analyses, risk analyses and mitigation recommendations, schedules, change control, and quality assurance documents.
  • Conduct analytical studies, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses or other research; evaluate, monitor, or ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, standards, and/or procedures.
  • Facilitate meetings, manage team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and conduct stakeholder communications.
  • Advise CDFA on project related matters.
  • Collaborate with CDFA and its designees to achieve desired results.
  • Develop accurate, comprehensive project management deliverables using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and Project.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills including telephone and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate expertise developing Waterfall and Agile project plans.
  • Work a flexible schedule when needed, which may include evenings and weekends.

Tasks Performed:

• Team Building and leadership
• Estimate task resource requirements and completion estimates
• Develop project and contract deliverables within resource estimates
• Track project and contract deliverable progress
• Develop monthly project reports
• Develop ad hoc reports
• Develop and conduct project communications
• Track project and task progress
• Develop and conduct project briefings as requested
• Maintain detailed WBS and Project Schedule
• Maintain and execute project management plans (risk and issue management, etc.)
• Develop an organizational change management plan
• Plan, coordinate, and lead project meetings and stakeholder requirements sessions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University.
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience providing diverse technical and management services to government agencies.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience providing diverse technical and management services to government agencies.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of team building, knowledge transfer, and/or mentoring experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience leading and facilitating team meetings
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the following:
    • Schedule management and Microsoft
      (MS) Project
    • Risk and issue management
    • Stakeholder management
    • Scope and change management
    • Organizational Change Management (OCM)

• Business process review and gap analysis
• Consulting experience for a project worth at least $2M
